Tributes continued to be paid to a young motorcyclist who died in a crash earlier this week as a fundraiser has been set up to help his heartbroken family.

Conner Dickinson, aged 24, died on Tuesday afternoon following the crash at the junction of Tonge Moor Road and Thicketford Road

Police and paramedics were called to the area at around 12.20pm, but despite their best efforts, Conner suffered ‘fatal injuries’.

Bolton Coroners Court confirmed the man as being Conner Dickinson.

Balloons and flowers have been left in memory of Conner  close the scene of the accident.

A friend of Conner's mum set up the fundraiser, with its description saying: "We all stick together in Bolton! Good or bad so I have decided to do a GoFundMe to try to help Siobhan.

"It may be to help towards the funeral or it may help support a trip out of Bolton after the funeral to so she can grieve her baby, her one and only child.

"She might want to take a trip or it may need to pay some of the fees for the funeral but whatever it is she needs, we should support her."
