A 34-year-old man who was wanted on recall to prison has been arrested.
The arrest was made yesterday morning (Tuesday December 20) by officers from Bolton’s Action Team.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Bolton North, said: “Officers from Bolton’s Action Team have arrested a 34-year-old man who was wanted on a recall to prison.
“He told officers that he wasn’t going to be arrested before Christmas, but this wasn’t an option for us.”

It comes as the North Neighbourhood Policing Team, in conjunction with Greater Manchester’s (GMP) Bolton Action Team, have identified the area’s most wanted offenders who were still evading police.
GMP are sending around 40 Christmas cards urging people to hand themselves in.
