A woman has been left with 'potentially life-changing' injuries in a crash.
Emergency services were called to Cromwell Road in Salford yesterday afternoon, December 23, at 4pm.
Tjhe crash involved a Black Volkswagen Golf R crashed into a 30-year-old pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and she was taken to hospital with "serious and potentially life-changing" injuries.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody for questioning.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident - or may have dashcam or doorbell footage - to please share it with officers in GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
"You can do so by calling 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 2269 of 23/12/2023. You can also make a report via the website www.gmp.police.uk.
"Alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
