Deane, 1959
An idyllic scene captured in December 1959. The little boy is playing with a ball with Deane Church in the background.
The photographer was standing on Junction Road and the pub you can see on the left of the picture is the King’s Head which at the time was tied to the Walker’s Brewery in Warrington.
The brewery would later become Tetley Walker.
