Two roads in Farnworth are set to be closed at the start of next week while electricity works are undertaken.
Cawdor Street and Francis Street will be closed from Monday, February 5 for approximately five days while works are ongoing.
The Cawdor Street road closure will prohibit all traffic from using Cawdor Street, from Egerton Street to Thorne Street.
An alternate route for traffic will be via Lorne Street and Campbell Street so residents can travel around the area with ease.

The Francis Street road closure will prohibit all traffic from going along Francis Street.
An alternate route will be via Egerton Street and Bolton Road to allow electricity works to take place.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
