There are currently long delays on the motorways this morning, impacting traffic going into and out of Bolton.
According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, there are long delays due to an earlier accident on M66 Southbound from junction three Pilsworth Road (Hollins) to junction four M60 J18 (Simister Island).
All lanes have been re-opened and the road has re-opened after traffic was stopped for around ten minutes.

According to Inrix there are also long delays due to earlier accident on M60 anticlockwise from junction 17 A56 Bury New Road (Prestwich / Whitefield) to junction 15 M61 (Swinton Interchange).
There is congestion to the M62 J20 (Rochdale).
All lanes have been re-opened and the road has re-opened after traffic was stopped for around ten minutes.
