A road in Deane is set to be closed at the end of this month whilst water works are ongoing.
Caledonia Street will be closed from February 27 for approximately five days to allow water works to take place in the area.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Caledonia Street from Willows Lane to the back of Willows Lane.
An alternative route for traffic will be via Cambria Street and Hibernia Street to allow motorists to travel around the area with ease.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
