Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a man who died in Bolton.
John Martin died at an address on Haydock Street on a date not revealed in an appeal by police.
Appealing for information about Mr Martin in the post on social media today (February 26), GMP Bolton said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 68-year-old.
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr Martin is asked to contact Bolton's Police Coroner's Office on 0161 856 4687.
