Three men and a teenage boy have been arrested in Somerset amid a police investigation into a Class A drugs line leading to Greater Manchester.

The four people were arrested last month after two police searches in Bridgewater, Somerset.

Three of the men are from Greater Manchester while the fourth, a 17-year-old boy, cannot be identified for legal reasons.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers have worked with Avon and Somerset Police, who carried out two searches in Bridgwater, Somerset on Thursday February 22 2024 where they arrested four people.

“They were all charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, heroin and cocaine.”

The four people charged were Curtis Coburn, 25 of Cavendish Road, Urmston, Zack Wildman, 26 of Poppy Street, Partington, Karl Richardson, 35 of Mainwood Road, Timperley and the boy.

Police say that Coburn was also charged with being in possession of cannabis following his arrest in Bridgwater.

He was also charged with affray, being in possession of a bladed article and two counts of wounding with intent for alleged offences which took place in Manchester last year.

According to Greater Manchester Police, the three men were remanded into custody, while the teenage boy was released on court bail.
