A police appeal has gone out after man died at his home last month.

Graham Platt died at the age of 72 at his home on Millbrook Avenue, Atherton last month on February 10.

Police have confirmed his death was not suspicious and have appealed for anyone with any information about Mr Platt’s next of kind to come forward.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Do you know the next of kin of a man from Atherton?

Graham Platt,72, died at his address on Millbrook Avenue, Atherton on February 10 2024.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”

No further details of the circumstances surrounding Mr Platt’s death were made public by Greater Manchester Police.

Police regularly put out appeals to members of the public to try and encourage them to come forward with information to help them find the loved ones of people who have died.

Anyone with any information about Mr Platt or his next of kin has been urged to get in touch with the Police Coroner’s Officer.
