A law firm has raised hundreds of pounds for homeless people with an annual quiz that “just gets better and better.”
The quiz was held by Little Lever and Bury based firm Clough & Willis at Elton Vale Sports Club earlier this month.
More than 90 people took part, making up 23 teams who managed to raise around £400 for Bury Homeless Project.
Clough & Willis managing partner Lee Marston said: “Every year the quiz just seems to get better and better.
“It’s fantastic to welcome so many of the area’s businesses and to see them having fun.
“Raising over £400 for Bury Homeless Project was the icing on the cake.”
The event has run since 1997, with this year’s quiz won by I-com International who scored 45 points.
Thompson Jones came second with 43 points after facing a tie breaker with Horsfield Smith.

The Bury Homeless Project is run by volunteers and runs across seven locations in Bury, Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Prestwich and Whitefield.
It works on an outreach basis with referrals from services, child services, the probation service, schools, medical professionals, Refuge and rough sleepers.
Bury Homeless Project CEO Suzanne Angle said: “As a small, volunteer run initiative, we rely on the kindness of people so we can’t thank Clough & Willis enough for this donation as it will directly help some of the most vulnerable in our communities.”
