Emergency services were called to a crash last night.

It took place on Scowcroft Street, Tonge Moor at around 11.30pm last night, April 5. 

Firefighters from Bolton North Fire Station were called out to the scene, before handing over to the police. 

No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.

Watch Manager at the station, Glyn McGann, said: "At 11.30pm, firefighters from Bolton North were called to a road traffic collision.

"A black Audi struck a parked vehicle on Scowcroft Street in Tonge Moor.

"The driver and any possible passengers had absconded. Firefighters taped the vehicle off in a cordon until police arrived. 

"No people were injured, because the other vehicle was a parked car." 

He added: "Firefighters were on scene for half an hour. There were no leaking fluids from the cars, so they did not need to be secured." 

 A police spokesman said the serious collision unit had not informed her about the incident and declined to comment further on the incident.
