A car was seized by police in Bolton when they found it had false licence plates attached.
Officers found the light grey Honda parked on Back Longsight North in Harwood on Friday April 19.
On examining it further they found that it was displaying false plates.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This car was seized by officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team yesterday.
“It was found parked up on Back Longsight North in Harwood.
“Checks revealed that it was displaying false number plates.
“It has been seized for an examination to establish its true identity.”

This comes amid long-running concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour on the roads around Bolton and elsewhere in Greater Manchester.

In recent weeks and months police have dealt with cases of speeding, drink and drug driving, and people driving while uninsured or without proper licences.
