A property near the centre of Bolton could be transformed into a five bedroom house of multiple occupation, if new plans are approved.
A proposal has been put forward for a property on St George's Road, located near Queen's Park.
The property in question was formerly Poseidon's fish and chip shop, which has permanently closed.
The first floor has previously been used as a flat.
A planning application has been launched to convert it into a five bedroom house of multiple application.
Due to the proposed change of use a planning application is required.
The proposal has been put forward by Sarah Barker-Smith, from Swinton.

The plans will be decided on by the planning committee of Bolton Council.
A number of neighbours will be consulted on the possible change of use of the building.
They have been given until May 5 to submit their comments on the proposal.
