A driver was found with thousands of pounds inside his boxer shorts after being stopped by police on the motorway.
Officers spotted the vehicle, a white Mercedes-Benz C220, on the southbound side of the M61, near Bolton, yesterday afternoon.
Police say the car, which raised their suspicions was first noticed by Lancashire Police and to prevent a chase, officers used tactical pursuit and containment tactics to box in the car near junction 2.
Officers say that a search found £5,000 hidden inside his underwear.
