A WORKINGTON sports club have been able to make access to their upcoming game 'more affordable' for families- thanks to a generous move from the Cumbrian raffle king.
Workington Town RLFC are offering the first 500 tickets to the upcoming game against Hunslet on June, 2 for just £5, after Northern Competitions Raffle King and club sponsor Ryan Dodgson has chosen to give something back to rugby fans in the area, subsidising tickets to the game.
A spokesman for Workington Town RLFC said: "This incredible offer has been made possible after kind hearted Ryan Dodgson from premier sponsor partner Northern Competitions offered to subsidise admission costs to make our next game more affordable for families and Rugby League supporters everywhere."
The club have worked hard to engage with and support the community throughout the past two years, with this recent initiative contributing to that goal, the day will also see a full Maryport ARLFC takeover, with Maryport flooding the stadium with Blue and Yellow and supplying plenty of pre match action
