S Club 7 Fans get a chance to go to their first ever gig!

Lifelong fans were able to ‘Reach for the stars’ and see their heroes in Manchester supported by our Outreach Team. Making exciting things possible for the people they support.

A bit about our Outreach Service and what it offers

Our Outreach Service supports people in their homes both in Bolton and Salford. We help people to develop their independence skills while supporting them to get active in their community, from shopping to managing finances and even going to gigs, we offer a range of support.

A footy tour full of memories

John was recently supported by his Shared Lives carer to go to Germany, Croatia and Italy on a tour of football stadiums. The journey kicked off from Wembley Stadium, then to Paris with a visit to Parc des Princes home to Paris Saint-Germain, moving on to Germany and the Bayern Munich ground Allianz Arena.

Then on to Austria and Italy and finally reaching Croatia finishing off with a visit to the Dynamo Zagreb Stadium and flying back to London for the final leg back to Bolton by train. What a fabulous European journey!

Shared Lives and what it offers.

Shared Lives is a life changing service, where individuals or families open their homes to adults with a variety of care and support needs to empower them to make the amazing happen.

Celebration time

Lots of laughs and a good old sing song is how Brenda will remember her 90th birthday at Rushey Fold one of our Extra Care Housing properties. She had an amazing day.

A bit about our Extra Care Housing service

Our award nominated Extra Care housing service offers a community within a community, where people over 55 can live independently, make new friends and have a great social life Offering on site support when its needed, we also operate this service in Wigan.

Life changing decisions

A family crisis led Keith to Inspire and while there, he realised that he wanted to live independently. The team supported him and gave him the confidence to make the move and he now lives in a supported living property and is living life to the full.

A bit about our InSpire short breaks service and what it offers.

Our ‘InSpire’ short breaks service (formerly Crawford Street) gives everyone space and time away from the day to day. Offering 24 hour support the service gives people the time out and the support to move on with their lives.

Steven receives a thrill from his United idol 

Steven received the best birthday ever as his support team in Salford arranged for him to receive a birthday message and a signed shirt from his Manchester United hero David Beckham.

Our Supported Living service enables people to live fuller lives in the community. Operating across Bolton, Salford and Wigan we offer person-centred care packages and help with practical matters such as budgeting and cooking.

With ‘People we Support’ forums to help people shape their care, our dedicated teams go beyond for the people we support to ensure they love life and realise their dreams. 

Helping John overcome his holiday anxieties

The amazing mental health team supported John to overcome his holiday anxieties. Through talking, reassuring and careful day to day planning the team supported him have a relaxing, enjoyable break with his parents.

Our mental health hubs are there for people who experience issues with their mental health and wellbeing. Our range of responsive services give people time out to reset and turn their lives around.
