Bolton Council say there may be "some disruption" to bin collections on Wednesday as staff pay respects to a team member who recently died.
Residents are being asked to help minimise the disruption by making sure their bins are ready for collection by 6am.
Collections will still be taking place but may be slightly disrupted but service will be be back to normal on Thursday.

A council spokesperson said: "Please note there may be some disruption to your bin collection on Wednesday, June 12.
"To minimise disruption, we are asking residents to present their bins by 6am.
"Normal collections will resume on Thursday, June 13.
"We apologise for any inconvenience."
