Five youths have been arrested in connection with a series of street robberies and assaults.
The attacks took place in the Tottington area on Friday, June 7 and "thanks to information shared by the public and a thorough police investigation", five male juveniles have been arrested.
Evidence has been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service to consider charges, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said.
A GMP Bury South spokesperson said: “On June 12, Bury’s neighbourhood crime team appealed for information concerning a series of street robberies and assaults that occurred in the Tottington area on Friday, June 7.
"Thanks to information shared by members of the public and a thorough police investigation, we are pleased to say that five male juveniles have now been arrested in relation to these offences.
"A file of evidence will now be submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service for their consideration of charges.
"We would like to thank all those that shared information concerning these incidents.
“Information shared by the public often plays a crucial part in our investigations and helps us to secure justice for victims of crime.
“We are committed to ensuring that the borough of Bury is a safe place for everyone.”
