St Ann's Hospice is challenging you to walk 100 miles throughout September.
The challenge is open to anyone who wishes to register and all proceeds will be directed towards patient care and support at the hospice.
Participants can set their pace and time, and share their journey with others facing the same challenge.
Susan Davies, one of the participants, said: "I walk a lot in my job but don’t walk as much as I would like, so these challenges help me do more intentional walking."
She continued expressing her eagerness to do more for the charity that she believes offers critical support to those in need.
The innovation and digital fundraiser at St Ann's Hospice, Marie Foster, said: "This challenge is for everyone who loves walking and every mile you complete will make a real difference, the important thing is getting out and raising vital funds for St Ann’s Hospice."
She also called for more people to take part in the challenge and support in their own way.
For registering in the challenge, St Ann's Hospice provides a free 'Walk 100 miles' T-shirt for participants to wear with pride all through the challenge.
On completion of the challenge during September, participants can share their progress in a private Facebook group, with the assurance of St Ann’s support at every step.
Susan added: "I found it useful to update my miles in the group and seeing other people’s progress was a real motivator too."
She expressed her anticipation of seeing how much money she can raise.
She believes that no amount is small and will surely benefit the patients and their circles.
