It's nearly time to raise a glass or two as a beer festival returns.
The Rotary Club of Horwich's 2024 Beer Festival will take place on 6-7 September.
The event will take place in the main function room at the Horwich RMI club, with a huge choice of drinks from more than 20 breweries across the UK and Europe.
There will be a selection of draft ales, keg bitters, UK and Continental lagers, plus a selection of ciders, as well as Prosecco.
Prices will be £4 and £5 depending on the chosen drink and the festival gets under way on Friday, September 6 from 7-11pm and Saturday, September 7 from 1-11pm.
Entry is £10 per person, which includes one free drink, a commemorative glass and the festival brochure.
There will be music and entertainment during the event.
The club has also linked up with the 2024 Festival of Horwich so that our bar will be open on Sunday, September 8 from 12.30pm to 6pm to support the event.
Entry will be free on Sunday with direct access from the festival activities on the playing field behind the RMI.
There will be a cashless bar, so drink tickets can be purchased at the door.
Ian Blackmore, festival chair, said: "We are back, even bigger and better than ever and we are looking forward to a great event, with all profits going towards needy causes in Horwich and the local area."
