Training provider Alliance Learning has welcomed a new chief executive officer, Dave Haslam.
Formerly the group director of apprenticeships at the University of Bolton, Mr Haslam took on the role on August 1, succeeding chief executive, Dr Gill Waugh.
Mr Haslam said: "I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new CEO of Alliance Learning.
"With more than 20 years of experience in the education and training sector, I’m passionate about helping learners reach their full potential.
"I am eager to work with our talented team to build on Alliance Learning’s strong foundation, driving innovation and growth to better serve our learners and employer partners.
"I look forward to connecting with you all and leading Alliance Learning into an exciting future."
Based in Horwich, Alliance Learning is part of the University of Bolton Group.
It delivers apprenticeships and training courses throughout the North West and has been recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Caroline Cowburn, chair of the board, added: "Dave officially started on August 1, replacing our outgoing Chief Executive Dr Gill Waugh, under whose leadership we were delighted to receive an Ofsted Good rating for the quality of our Apprenticeship provision.
"Dave is keen to work in partnership with our employers, schools and other stakeholders, to ensure that Alliance provides the skills that employers need for future growth and to equip individuals for their future careers in a rapidly changing world."
