Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris are to return to screens in a new BBC show called Paddy And Chris: Road Tripping.
It will be the first show the pair have appeared in together since former England cricketer Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, 46, was badly hurt in an accident while filming Top Gear at Dunsfold Aerodrome in December 2022, which led to the show being rested for the “foreseeable future” by the BBC.
The new show will see Paddy and Chris travel around Sweden, Greece and Switzerland to explore the secrets to living a long and full life.
It will see them try out rollercoasters, surfing, woodland workouts and even cosmetic treatments, as they investigate how Europeans grow old gracefully.
The three-part series will see the two meet some of the longest-living people alive.
In a trailer for the show, Paddy says: “Me and Chris have decided to tackle getting older head on.”
Chris adds: “Visiting our European neighbours for the secret to ageing more gracefully.”
Then Chris chimes in: “Well, less disgracefully.”

Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris go on European road trip
Speaking earlier this year Paddy said: “I'm very much looking forward to getting back on the road with Chris Harris. Not so much looking forward to sharing a confined space with him. He doesn't believe in deodorant. On the plus side he’ll give me something to laugh at along the way. Bring it on!”
Chris said: “Paddy’s idea of long-haul travel is driving from Bolton to Blackpool, so this European road-trip should be a real eye-opener for both of us. When we’re finished debating the merits of literally everything we encounter, viewers will hopefully take something rewarding away from our deep-dive into the secrets of human longevity - but I’m just hoping my interest in the subject doesn’t dwindle as each mile goes by in Paddy’s company!”
The first episode of Paddy And Chris: Road Tripping will air on BBC One on Sunday, September 29, and will also be available on iPlayer.
