A charity quiz match raised more than £4,000 at Bradshaw Cricket Club.
The event was organised by Sue Taylor and Jackie Buckley and presented by Mike Buckley and Ray Taylor.
In the twelve years the event has been running, more than £35,000 has been raised for a number of charities, but in recent years the beneficiary has been solely Bolton Hospice.
Future quizzes will also be for the Hospice.
The hospice provides expert care and support for local people facing life-limiting illnesses, and their families. It is independent charity, and its services are free.
And it relies on donations to support the people of Bolton.
