Two pubs in Bolton are set to celebrate Robert Burns with a week-long event.
From Wednesday, January 22, to Tuesday, January 28, The Spinning Mule in Nelson Square, Bolton, and The Robert Shaw in Market Street, Westhoughton, will mark the Scottish poet's legacy.
This will include Burns Night itself on Saturday, January 25.
To commemorate the occasion, the Wetherspoon pubs will serve a variety of Scottish food and drinks.
The menu will feature Scottish haggis, neeps, and tatties, as well as a Caledonian Burger – two 3oz beef patties with haggis, whisky sauce, chips, and six onion rings.
The haggis meal, made with 'award-winning haggis' from Grants of Speyside, will be priced at £7.49 with a soft drink, or £9.02 with an alcoholic drink.
A smaller portion of the haggis meal is available at £5.49 with a soft drink and £7.02 with an alcoholic drink.
The Caledonian Burger meal is priced at £9.40 with a soft drink and £10.93 with an alcoholic drink.
The Burns' event meal deals include a selection of Scottish drinks.
In particular, the 'golden-coloured' Inveralmond Ossian from Perthshire-based Inveralmond Brewery, known for its 'hoppy, zesty, citrus aroma,' will be served especially for the event.
The Spinning Mule pub manager, Simon Long, said: "The seven-day celebration is a great opportunity for our customers to enjoy some traditional Scottish food and drink and to celebrate for longer than just the 25th of January."
