A street is still blighted by fly tipping, with rats appearing, more than six months after residents raised complaints.
Longfield Road in Daubhill has long had trouble with rubbish being dumped in the area, including pieces of old furniture and large bags of waste.
People living nearby said that several months after they last raised the issue with The Bolton News as long as six months ago, they are still badly afflicted.
A resident said: “It’s still bad even now, this time a lot of fly tipping has been chucked on the road path at the bottom of Longfield Road.
“It’s been more than six months!”

“It's not fair, why should be live like this? I'm a taxpayer and I would prefer that our area should be better than this!”
Images from around Longfield Road show huge amounts of rubbish all strewn across the area, just months after similar levels of waste were captured on camera in the area.

In response to the Longfield Road incidents, Bolton Council has said that if it is on their own land, it will be cleared, but that if the land is owned privately the owner will be told.
A council spokesperson said: “We continue in our zero-tolerance approach to fly tipping in the borough and are committed to finding and prosecuting those responsible.
“Reported fly tipping will be cleared by our teams if it is found to be on council land.
"If it is on private land, the owner will be notified.
“Fly tipping can be reported online www.bolton.gov.uk/flytipping.”
