A stall in Bolton Market has been named the best deli in the borough in The Bolton News awards, to celebrate and shine a spotlight on the town's wonderful businesses.
Deli Boys Delicatessen has been supplying shoppers with meats, cheeses, and a range of homemade goods from their stall in Bolton Market for the last eight years.
They have been crowned The Bolton News' best farm, deli, or butchers' shop 2025.
Martin Farrimond from the stall, 43, said that he was “shocked” to learn that they had been nominated a few weeks ago, now he's taken home the prize.

Martin said: "I'm very pleased, I'm very pleased for my mum Josephine, as well as she provides most of the produce."
"But that has meant that about 70 per cent of the my sales are home deliveries, and I've managed to expand my brand outside the walls of the market.
"I'm sure plenty of the people who voted for us have stuff delivered to them so I'm glad to see that is has paid off.
"I'd like to thank all my customers and my parents."
According to Martin, 85 per cent of his produce comes from his mum's kitchen, with his delivery service advertised as “£10 Deli to Door”.
As well as bread, meat and cheese – Deli-boys sell homemade treats, pies, condiments and a wide range of products.
Martin makes no excuses when it comes to price, while customer service and quality is what he prides himself on, it doesn't come cheap.
“It’s expensive – but it’s homemade," he said.
