An annual village fun day was said to be the 'the best yet'.
The Barlow Institute hosts its fun day to bring the community of Edgworth together and raise funds for the upkeep of its estate, where the fun day is hosted.
Fairground rides, face painting, and a race for the kids on Edgworth Cricket Club's field were all on the agenda.
John Marriot, from the Barlow Institute, said: "It was a washout in the morning, but thankfully the sun came out at around 12.30pm and it was very good.
The day coincided with the Edgworth 10k run which has more than 250 runners, meaning this year's event was better and busier than ever, organiser Jasmine Coleman said.

"I'm absolutely knackered, we've been organising this since the end of last year," she said. "The best thing is seeing all the families and kids come out in the local community."
Edgworth cricket and bowling club were involved in getting the fun day off the ground, as well various licenses that needed to be secured.
The Barlow originally opened on October 30, 1909, a result of a private benefaction, and was dedicated to the memory of James and Alice Barlow by their children, most notably Sir Thomas Barlow, who opened the doors at the ceremony with his family.
People took shelter in The Barlow from the harsh breezes, which the village was historically famous for.
Many of the facilities deteriorated, and the building is now used as a community hub, hosting other events, including the Edgworth Folk Festival.
