Bolton’s oldest brass band will return to the stage this summer for an evening of live music.

The Eagley Band Summer Concert will take place on Saturday, July 4, at Bolton Parish Church.

Under the direction of conductor Chris Wormald, the concert will feature a full programme alongside Eagley’s community choir and community band.

The programme has a selection of familiar favourites drawn from stage, screen and popular music, with highlights including Phantom Of The Opera and Back To The Future.

Tickets are priced at £5 and are available from Booth’s Music Shop in Churchgate (Tel. 01204 522908, cash payments only) or via the Eagley Band website.

The band is encouraging residents to spread the word ahead of what promises to be a major summer highlight for music lovers.
