A Bolton photographer captured on camera these adorable fox cubs in his garden last week.
The little visitors came in a pair, with the smallest of the two being 'smaller than a cat', according to photographer Steven Kearsley.
Despite spotting the cubs in his garden on consecutive nights, Steven has yet to catch a glimpse of the mother.
Foxes usually mate during winter and this is when foxes are at their most vocal, barking and screeching as they look to attract a mate and fend off rivals, according to the Woodland Trust.
Mother foxes give birth to a litter of around four to five cubs in spring, which are then cared for by both the mother and the father.
This means the subs spotted by Steven are, at most, only a few months old at.
Cubs are usually self-sufficient by around autumn, at which point many leave to establish their own territories.
Others may remain with the family group for an extended period, however, with some even helping to raise the next season's youngsters.
