Fear and concern remain across parts of Bolton after an imam's family home were targeted within hours of each other earlier this week.
The incidents have prompted calls for anyone with information to come forward as police continue their investigation.
On Wednesday, 9pm, an imam's home on Eastgrove Avenue, Sharples, was targeted in what Greater Manchester Police believe was a 'targeted' attack.
No one was injured in either incident.
Bolton South and Walkden MP Yasmin Qureshi has now spoken out following the incidents, saying many people will have been left frightened by what happened.
Ms Qureshi said: "What's happened in Bolton over the past day has left many people frightened, and I want to speak to that directly.
"The home of an Imam and his family on Eastgrove Avenue was firebombed in what Greater Manchester Police believe was a deliberate, targeted attack. A place of worship and a family's home - places where anyone should be able to feel safe. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
"I know there are families this week who feel anxious walking their own streets.
"To them, I want to say clearly. You are not alone, and this whole town stands with you.
"Islamophobia has no place in Bolton. None. Our Muslim community is part of the fabric of this town, and an attack on them is an attack on all of us.
"Greater Manchester Police have assured me there is no wider risk to the public, and I'm grateful for how quickly they and the emergency services responded. Bolton Council of Mosques have also been a calm, steady voice for worshippers, and I echo their advice: stay vigilant, and report anything unusual.
"Now the police need our help. If you have CCTV, dashcam footage, or saw anything, please come forward. Whoever is responsible must be found and face justice.
"In the coming days, I'll continue speaking with Bolton Council of Mosques, local faith leaders and the police to make sure communities get the reassurance and support they need. Bolton has always answered hate with solidarity.
"That's who we are, and that's exactly what we'll do now."
Police have said they believe the firebombing was a targeted attack, but stressed there is no wider risk to the public.
The force has appealed for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage as enquiries continue.
