Plans have been submitted for a two-storey side and one-storey rear extension for a house in Great Lever.

Vasundhara Nikam submitted the plans on July 17 to add an extension to the front and side of their house at 61 Duncombe Road, as well as alterations to a boundary fence and creation of car parking space.

The plans would see the interior of the house significantly expanded, with the addition of a new 'formal dining room' as well as a utilities closet on the ground floor.

The first floor would see the addition of two new bedrooms - bringing the total up to five.

Out front, the homeowner would like to install a dropped curb to facilitate the creation of two new parking spaces.

This would also involve the installation of a hard surface on which to park over the grass that is currently there, allowing two cars to be parked in front of the house.

The boundary wall wound be extended round the Western side of the house.
