A singing group will soon be hitting the road to bring music into the heart of the community.

Think Cre8tive Group CIC in Bolton is launching a Park Summer Sing Along 'On Tour'.

The tour will offer three free outdoor singing sessions from Tuesday, August 11, to Thursday, August 13.

The events aim to bring together singing club members, residents, families, and passers-by for an hour of casual group singing in the open air.

Frances Turnbull, CEO of Think Cre8tive Group CIC, said: "Our Singing Clubs are about much more than singing.

"They bring people together, help reduce isolation and create opportunities for friendship, enjoyment and improved wellbeing.

"Taking the clubs into Bolton’s parks means that even more people can experience the warmth and energy of singing together.

"There is no audition, no pressure and no need to be an experienced singer; people can simply come along and join in."

No experience is required and booking is not necessary.

The sessions will take place at the following locations:

Elizabeth Park, behind Bolton Central Library, Tuesday, August 11, from 2pm to 3 pm.

Farnworth Park, opposite Farnworth Library, Wednesday, August 12, from 2pm to 3pm.

Egerton Park, near the playground, Thursday, August 13, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Attendees are advised to wear suitable clothing and bring water, along with a chair or picnic blanket if needed.

The events are supported by Bolton Council’s Growing the Good Work Fund.
