Young people can try their hand at DJing during free taster sessions across the borough.
The sessions are being organised by Bolton Library and Museum Services in partnership with The EQ Lab UK, led by Andrew Gidney.
Designed for children and young people, the workshops introduce participants to DJing using professional equipment in a studio-style environment.
They are aimed at complete beginners as well as those with an interest in music and DJ culture.
Held at libraries across the borough, the sessions are designed to make creative opportunities more accessible for young people.
If there is sufficient interest following the taster sessions, The EQ Lab says it will offer discounted studio courses and will look at opening a Bolton branch.
Sessions will take place during August at High Street Library (August 11, 2pm), Farnworth Library (August 13 and August 25) and Westhoughton Library (August 20, after 2pm).
The classes are free to attend, but advance booking is required through Eventbrite or via the libraries.
