A man accused of rape "pushed" his alleged victim to "make money on OnlyFans" along with assaulting and controlling her, a court heard.
Dean Holmes, 43, is accused of repeatedly raping a woman while keeping her separate from her family and friends, pressuring her to quit her job and controlling her social media usage.
Bolton Crown Court heard how the woman said Holmes had "forced himself" on her on several occasions while using threats and violence to control her.
Mark Kellet, prosecuting, said: "She said he put pressure on her to start making money on OnlyFans, a website where people pay for intimate content.
"She said that he pushed her into that."

He added: "She would upload pictures of herself, and the defendant would use the account to engage in text conversations with the men."
Holmes, who wore a dark grey suit and a tie in the dock, watched in silence from the dock as Mr Kellet opened the case.
Mr Kellet told the jury of seven men and five women how, after about six months into their relationship, things had started to "deteriorate" between Holmes and his alleged victim.
Though most of the sex they had was consensual, there were times when Holmes "forced himself" on the woman.
Mr Kellet said: "On those occasions she said that she would be crying and telling him no and trying to push him away."
He said that this meant Holmes must have known she was not consenting.
Mr Kellet told the jury that the first time this had happened, Holmes ignored the woman crying and saying "leave me alone" and continued to make advances to her.
He said: "She said that afterwards, he acted as though nothing had happened, asking her, ‘What you getting upset for? What’s wrong with you?’."
The woman said that this had happened "three or four times".
When she was later asked by police if Holmes knew she was upset, Mr Kellet said the woman told the officers, "yeah, I was crying in his face" and that "he knew, but he didn’t care".
Mr Kellet said that as the relationship worsened, Holmes would often ask her about who she had been messaging when she was using social media.
He said he was also often abusive "calling her a slag, slut, dirty f*cking tramp, telling her that nobody else would want her".
Mr Kellet said that the woman called the police after Holmes assaulted her by punching her to the side of the face.
Holmes was arrested and, when interviewed, gave the police a prepared statement claiming that their relationship had been "toxic" and that the woman had been abusive towards him.
He claimed that two months before the arrest, the woman had physically assaulted him and gave no comment to all further questions put to him.
Holmes, of The Highgrove, Markland Hill, admitted controlling and coercive behaviour but denies four counts of rape.
The trial, before Judge Jon Close, continues.
