Nature enthusiasts are being invited to discover more about the birds of prey found across Bolton at a free talk taking place this weekend.

Hosted by Bolton Museum’s Curator of Natural History, the event will explore the different species that can be spotted in and around the borough and offer tips on how to identify them.

Visitors will learn about some of the area’s most recognisable birds of prey, from buzzards soaring overhead to peregrine falcons, which have become a popular sight locally.

The talk will take place in the Bolton Museum Lecture Theatre at 1pm on Saturday, August 22.

The event is free to attend, with no booking required.

Suitable for ages seven and above, the session is aimed at families, wildlife lovers and anyone interested in learning more about Bolton’s natural environment.
