A fire station is throwing open its doors for a day of community fun.
Bolton North Fire Station on Crompton Way will host an open day on Saturday, September 12, from 10am to 4pm, with activities for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy bouncy castles, face painting, food and drink, and a chance to see fire engines up close.
There will also be live demonstrations, including the station’s turntable ladder in action and a display of the historic Green Goddess fire engine.
Greater Manchester Police will also attend, giving the public the chance to see police cars and meet officers.
The Bolton North Neighbourhood Team said: "We look forward to engaging with the local community and supporting this fantastic event."
Food on offer will include burgers, sweets, and Carrs Pasties.
Entry is free.
