Thinking of tying the knot somewhere romantic?
Now may be the perfect time, as Hoghton Tower, one of the North West's most beautiful venues, is hosting an open day this Sunday (September 13), giving couples the chance to explore its historic grounds.
The event will run from noon to 3pm, with the tower's wedding team on hand to discuss plans and suitability.
Wedding suppliers will also be available, giving couples the opportunity to talk catering, service, and all the other technical details that go into making your big day that much more special.
Hoghton Tower is a historic manor house located near the village of Hoghton, Lancashire.
The land has been occupied since the 12th century, though the house itself is Elizabethan, being erected between around 1560 - 1565.
The tower has a strong romantic pedigree, and has been used as a shooting location for a number of films, including 2005's Casanova, starring David Tennant.
