Can someone tell me why every time a couple of snow flakes fall on this country it comes to a stand still?
On my way to school this morning, with my 3 boys, we listened to the radio to hear it announced that all the schools in Birmingham and Dudley would be closed. Can you imagine their reaction to such great news? Does that mean we have a day off as well?!
What do countries like Finland do when they have several feet of snow? Does Finland come to a stand still as well?
P.S.
Many thanks and congratulations to Bolton’s gritting teams who prepared our roads for the forecast snow fall that never materialised. I have to say that I think Bolton’s adverse weather team was the most organised it has been for years, well done.
