ANOTHER measure of how far Bolton Wanderers have come in the last five or six years came on Wednesday night.
Liverpool became the third English team to progress to the Champions League semi-finals. In effect, England now have three of the four best teams in Europe.
The very fact that Wanderers are going toe to toe for a place in this elite competition with last season's finalists, Arsenal, is a great indication of how far the club have come in Big Sam's tenure.
It can be argued that the Premiership is the best league in Europe, and Wanderers are now one of the strongest teams in that league!
Let's hope the Whites can complete the unthinkable and finally land a Champions League spot come the end of the season.
