My sincere condolences go to Paul's family. I didn't know him but wanted to let his family and friends know that the general public are shocked and appalled at his senseless and unnecessary death.

To the family of the late Paul Gilligan. This tragic unecessary death has shocked my friend and I to the very core of everyones life. I and my freind can only give you my most sincere and deepest condolences to the family. I know I didnt know paul aswell as all the others seemed to know him so-well but just looking at the photo, he seems like a vary aimable, likeable everyday type of lad, you would meet in any place not just a public house.. All I can say is I wish to give my along with freind our deepest regret to a life that was ended by the hand of another, it seems to be a complete waste of a good life. May he Rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon his soul. God keep and watch over you
