A health care worker asked a 15-year-old girl explicit questions when he carried out a test for a sexually transmitted disease against correct procedure, a court heard.

Damien Bible, aged 26, of Gainsborough Ave, Daubhill, is on trial at Bolton Crown Court today, charged with engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.

He is accused of “carrying out a swab test” for chlamydia, which should have been carried out by a doctor in the presence of a chaperone.

Instead, the court heard Bible carried out the test himself and asked the girl inappropriate sexual questions during the five minute consultation.

Jonathan Dickinson, prosecuting, said that Bible also gave the girl his mobile phone number and asked her to call him.

Bible denies the allegations.
