A MAN has been fined £50 for stealing two packets of washing tablets from a Co-op Late store.
Bolton magistrates was told that Gareth Kemp, aged 35, of Blackledge Street, Daubhill, walked into the store in St Helen’s Road, Daubhill, on November 7 and took two packets of Aerial washing tablets.
He was challenged by a shop assistant, who spotted the theft on CCTV, as he attempted to leave the store.
Kemp, who admitted theft, was also ordered to pay £43 court costs, £6.70 in compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.
