ASHLEY Margolis is soon to become a familiar face to millions, as he has bagged the role of Ricky in Hollyoaks.
But first the 15-year-old from Bury is appearing a little closer to home — as the Artful Dodger in Farnworth Performing Arts Company’s production of Oliver.
Appearing as Nancy alongside Ashley will be Kate Gregory, who made the last 100 of the BBC’s I’d Do Anything, and plenty of other familiar faces from Farnworth PAC.
Among the childrens’ chorus is 13 year-old Ellesse Clough, who won an award at last year’s Manchester Musical Awards for her role as Annie. The role of Oliver will be played by David Beeby, Mike Wignall will play Bill Sikes and Sharron Knott will take on the role of Widow Corney. The show will also feature a 15-piece orchestra, and will be directed by Robert Margolis.
Oliver by Farnworth Performing Arts Company runs at the Albert Halls, Victoria Square, Bolton, from April 21 to 25. Tickets are available by ringing 01204 653539 or 01204 334400.
