PUPILS from across the borough have used their dreams and aspirations to create a giant piece of art in Bolton town centre.

More than 320 youngsters, aged four to 16, have been exploring their talents in a series of creative workshops as part of a community project run by housing group Bolton at Home.

As part of the Creating Aspirations Project, the children have worked with artist Oliver Wotherspoon to create the giant artwork, which has been unveiled on a billboard in Great Moor Street.

Cllr Noel Spencer, chairman of Bolton At Home, said: “We are delighted with how the children have got involved and made this project their own. It’s quite special and will give the town a new landmark. We are very proud that so many residents and visitors will be able to see the aspirations of Bolton’s youth represented so prominently.”

The artwork will stay up for two weeks.
