Four Financial Recruitment, Chorley New Road, Bolton.

A GROWING Bolton recruitment business is proving just the job for firms throughout Lancashire and Manchester.

Set up in January last year by four directors, Four Financial Recruitment offers its services to a range of small, privately owned entities through to global PLCs and UK professional practices.

The business, in Chorley New Road, places people into predominantly finance roles on a temporary or permanent basis.

The directors say their financial performance has outstripped their original business plan in the first year.

Director Phil Sofield said: “ In our 15 months of trading, Four Financial Recruitment has grown from a team of four to eight staff. The additional staff includes an office manager and three consultants. The extra staff enable us to service a wider geographical area with respect to both the client and the candidate.”

Other directors are Claire Sofield, Alastair McLean and Paul Hebden. Together, they founded the company with the intention of building a recognised and respected brand offering recruitment services throughout the North West.

Mr Sofield added: “In January, 2008, we started with an empty database and this has grown to a database with 2,371 separate companies, 5,156 individual contacts and a total of just over 2,700 registered candidates.

“The commitment to work hard and to lead from the front is essential in a highly competitive industry.

“We have always marketed our business very much on the basis that when you work with Four, either as a client or a candidate, you will feel that we have done our very best to assist you with your requirements.”

Looking to the future, Mr Sofield added: “Our plan is to open a second office by the end of 2009 after cementing ourselves as the number one choice for financial recruitment in and around the Bolton area.”
