Cube3 Marketing, Breightmet Street, Bolton

THE dynamic driving force behind the Bolton-based Cube3 marketing agency is the sheer quality of its staff.

Cube3 provides full-service marketing solutions for local, national and international clients and its display cabinets groan under the weight of industry awards testifying to its creative brilliance.

PR and communication executive Gemma Cannon said: “The company’s philosophy is ‘if we can’t market ourselves effectively, how are we going to persuade clients that we can do the same for their business?’”

Cube3 was founded by Karl Barker when he was 24 in 1999 and in 2006, businessman Phil Ogden added his expertise to Cube3.

Mr Barker had a vision to create a fully integrated agency that was founded on core creative flair.

From its humble beginnings 10 years ago in a back room with two staff, Cube3 is now one of the leading marketing agencies outside of London.

It employs 20 staff and boasts an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients, including Mercedes Benz, BMW, TMD Friction, No1 Currency and Cash Generator.

The company has just launched a new website. Miss Cannon said: “We are very proud of this as we feel it establishes us at the forefront of the digital arena.

“Our philosophy is — with sales figures rising year on year, we are confident that the remainder of 2009 will be our most successful yet.

“In 2007/08 we launched our digital division allowing us to offer clients an online window in which to market their products and services.

“In its first year, Cube3 Digital acquired 15 new clients which accounted for 17 per cent of the overall turnover for that year.”

She added: “We anticipate a doubling of our current digital sales growth over the next three years driving our overall sales towards the £5 million mark by the end of 2011.”
