A MAN has been found guilty of murdering teenage model Amy Barnes.
Ricardo Morrison, aged 22, of Birmingham, stabbed the 19-year-old to death at the home they shared in Moss Street, Farnworth.
In a 12-day trial jurors had heard how Amy had called emergency services from her mobile phone as she lay dying and told them her boyfriend had stabbed her.
Manchester Crown Court had heard how Morrison was a violent bully who grew inceasingly jealous of his girlfriend going to nightclubs with friends.
The jury took six hours to reach its verdict.
As the verdict was read out Morrison held his head in his hands and looked at the ground.
Morrison's mother, Melda Wilks, aged 50, of Birmingham, was cleared of assisting an offender.
