A NORTH West Euro MP has slammed the Government’s decision to pay GPs for every swine flu vaccine they administer.
UKIP’s Paul Nuttall said that the £5.25 doctors will receive was “outrageous”.
He added: “We all know the average GP salary is £110,000 and they already receive £7.51 for each seasonal flu jab they give.
“It is the taxpayer who will be funding this financial bonanza and it is an affront to the average wage earner.”
Mr Nuttall has also raised concerns over whether the swine flu jab had been tested stringently enough.
