Bromley Cross/ Egerton/Turton
Service at Christ Church, in Blackburn Road, Walmsley, at 10am followed by a procession to the Dunscar war memorial, in Blackburn Road, for another service at 11am. St Anne’s Church in High Street, Chapeltown, is holding a service at 10.45am.
Parade will assemble in Emmett Street at 11.40am. Veterans will march along Winter Hey Lane to the public hall in Lee Lane. A service will be held at the war memorial in Lever Park Avenue at 12.15pm.
Gather at Parochial Primary School, The Fairways, off Wigan Road, at 9.20am, Leave for the parish church at 9.40am. A service of remembrance will be held at 10am, followed at 10.45am by a service at the war memorial. The parade will march up Church Street, along Lord Street, The Avenue, Central Drive, Bolton Road and Market Street, before returning to the school.
Farnworth
The parade will leave the Hawkers Club in Gladstone Road at 10.10am, go along Albert Road to the Vets’ Club in Brackley Street. It will leave there at 10.30am along Brackley Street, down Market Street to the war memorial, where a service of remembrance will take place at 11am.
Parade leaves Kearsley Cricket Club for the war memorial at 9.30am. Wreaths will be laid at 10am at the cenotaph outside the old town hall, in Bolton Road. A service will follow at St Stephen’s Church, in Manchester Road.
Service at Christ Church in Mytham Road, Little Lever, at 10am. A service will also be held at the war memorial in Coronation Square at 11am.
